Level 2 Background Check
Level 2 generally refers to a state and national fingerprint database check ensuring individuals in trusted professions are who they claim to be. Level 2 pertains only to the state of Florida and is not used by the FBI or other states. Section 435 of the Florida Statute mandates that a Level 2 background check is conducted on applicants seeking employment for state and federal agencies and/or certain licensed professionals.

What You Need to Bring:
OCA: Is the Controlling Agency Identifier provided by DCF to identify the provider requesting the background check.
METHOD OF PAYMENT: We do not issue refunds under any circumstances once the scanned fingerprints are submitted (Please ensure that the information you provide is accurate).
Live Scan fingerprinting is an inkless, electronic means of capturing fingerprints in a digitized format. This latest state-of-the-art technology then transmits and submits them to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) within five to ten minutes. Live Scan devices have now become the norm for civil applicant and background checks nationwide. This new technology replaces the traditional method of ink and roll onto fingerprint cards. We can provide the traditional method of rolling ink fingerprints when requested. However, we are able to provide cutting edge technology to meet the dynamic changes in today's industry. Our equipment is a certified FBI compliant Live Scan System. We utilize the CrossMatch Guardian 300 and FBI/FDLE Live Scan Management Software.
